Associate Medical Director Announced

We are pleased to announce Dr. Jonathan C. Lee as the new Associate Medical Director for the Farley Center at Williamsburg Place. His training and expertise in addiction and psychiatry from Duke University will build on our already nationally recognized Medical Department lead by Dr. Melissa Lee Warner, Medical Director. Dr. Lee will be working collaboratively with our Farley Center clinical team to help individuals and families struggling with substance use disorders including dual diagnosis issues.

A former resident of Williamsburg, Virginia, Dr. Lee will be returning home to work with patients and their families with substance use disorders coupled with psychiatric conditions.

“I am excited about joining the Farley Center at Williamsburg Place and look forward to integrating my internal medicine and psychiatric expertise in helping patients and their families live a life in recovery," stated Dr. Lee.

The Farley Center at Williamsburg Place has a 20 year history in treating substance use disorders. Our medical and clinical staff experience stand above the rest.

Raised in Williamsburg, a graduate of Duke Medical school specializing in both Internal Medicine and Psychiatry his wealth of knowledge and experience will serve not only our patients & families, our staff, our valued referents, and our community," added Stephanie Loebs, Executive Director.

Dr. Lee is a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He recently completed his clinical training in combined internal medicine and psychiatry at Duke University Medical Center where he was chief resident of Medicine/Psychiatry. He has conducted clinical research in collaboration with the Duke Addictions Program and TROSA.

Dr. Lee is a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, American Psychiatric Association, Association of Medicine and Psychiatry, and American College of Physicians.

The Farley Center at Williamsburg Place is a partial day hospital program designed for individuals who have primary Substance Use Disorders, requiring intensive, in-depth psychotherapeutic intervention, safe detoxification, as well as educational and experiential approaches to assist them into recovery. Many of our patients have been diagnosed with complicating non-acute medical conditions, co-occurring conditions and/or personality disorders. We are considered leaders in treating professionals. We have decades of experience working with Physician Health and Lawyers Assistance Programs as well as Boards of Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Dental and other Allied Health Professionals. We take pride in our ability to prepare the professional to return to their chosen field safely and in recovery.
