CAN I TAKE MY PRESCRIPTION MEDICATIONS WHILE IN REHAB?

Usually, the answer is yes. However, certain medications may be unsafe in chemical dependency.

At Williamsburg Place and The Farley Center, we have seen many individuals  struggle to recover from alcohol or drug abuse, completely unaware that a medicine prescribed for them is triggering their addiction and making it impossible for them to become clean and sober. That's why each medicine will be checked for its relapse potential as well as its safety by our medical team to determine whether or not you should continue to take it.  In problematic cases, an alternative, safer treatment can usually be prescribed.

If you or someone who works for you suffers from drug and/or alcohol addiction,
contact Williamsburg Place today to learn more about our individualized treatment programs.
